On Sunday April 17,2016 @ 0723 hours the Morning after banquet night Station 57 (South Bowers) was alerted for a smoke detector activation at # 89 South Big Stone Beach drive. Command 57 responded with Deputy Chief (Mcconaghy) and was advised of a automatic fire alarm at this location. Engine 57-5 responded with 21 Captain (Amber Burk), Engine 57-1 with Chief (B.Johnson). Command arrived on scene and investigated. Deputy Mcconaghy made contact with the homeowner and was advised he was cooking breakfast. Deputy 57 placed the situation under control unattended cooking and returned all units.
